Other Details to Note
As a reminder, you will be deep in the Ozark woods, and the wildlife (including the bugs!) loves it here as much as we do. Please keep doors, screens and windows closed as much as possible to keep the critters outside where they belong. Bugs are naturally drawn to lights at night, so be mindful when opening doors after dark! The gravel bar may not be accessible when the river is in flood stage, but access to the cabins and property is unaffected.

A trip to the Ozarks is not complete with spending some time outside. Our property is 180 acres, and has several trails for you to explore. Check out nearby Maramec Springs Park for great trails- some challenging and some paved, accessible to all. They also have a historic iron mine, and a trout hatchery. Onondaga State Park is a quick 20 minute drive away, featuring a guided cave tour, playground, picnic areas, swimming beach and miles of hiking trails. Try the Oak Ridge Trail for a scenic 3 mile loop. Floating Information Planning a float trip?
